Lee is right. That is a happy song, especially in your talented hands. I think that one is your best sounding lap steel, hands down!

Hi Doug, We have something in common, an Eadd9 tuning. With my 12-string pedal steel, I can play a 5(7th) sweeping idiot lick that turns heads. Back to "Wildwood Flower"; Your touch and tone reminds me of Jerry Byrd.

Thanks guys. Manny, you crack me up! I've heard that "sweeping idiot" lick a few times. I've always enjoyed playing guitar on gigs where you're on pedal steel.

Joe, I agree with you about this Gibson lap steel. It sounds very full, a nice midrange tone and lots of sustain. It's showing a lot of wear now. This one is my workhorse!
