I have recently had some troubles with my pedal steel and the knee levers. I was wondering if there was anybody that works on them in the Nashville area. I am still fairly new to pedal steel, so I don't feel comfortable working on it by myself.

I recently was trying to tune the pedals and levers using the side keys and now my one knee lever doesn't move the tone down a half step. One of the keys on the end is somehow bent as well. I had someone near me look at it, but he recommended I find someone who knows more or contact the manufacturer. It is a GFI student model by the way. Any help or recommendations to fix it would be appreciated.

Have you read through this? https://www.gfimusicalproducts.com/_files/ugd/deb4ea_c5d4cfd30dea467599be98257bd33df6.pdf It's a pull-release mechanism, tuning is slightly counter intuitive
