Question for gigging players

My sole source of income for the last sixty+ years has been music so yes, anything I've spent has been paid for many times over.

That's not to that I haven't needlessly indulged myself from time to time - a guitar has caught my fancy even if it was surplus to actual requirements - but even those outlays came in handy at tax time.
