Thanks in advance!!
Would like some suggestions for a C6th copeadent for a single ten, with-
with five pedals an four knees.
The pedals five pedals will be standard Emmons copeadent.
What too do with the four knees is what I would like too know ?

Johnie, for the most bang for your buck I would copy Buck Reid's setup. 4kls and 5 pedals with many chromatic intervals! Find it on his website.

I'm 100% with b0b on this. Can't go wrong with this.
Perhaps the biggest question would be what to do with the somewhat non-standard left knee levers - but again, I find raising and lowering the A string to be the most useful and also most intuitive.

Then again, I swear by the entire standard Emmons D-10 copedant.

I respect and admire guys that try out different things when it comes to tunings and levers/pedals, but I'm not that guy, for sure. Smile

If I were setting up an single neck C6 Iā€™d try double stopping the A-Bb-B and C-C#-D levers. And maybe try an A-G#-G lever.

It would be a good idea to rod up the knee lever crossrods (except RKL) for changes an octave lower as well. A lot of players (including me) raise both A's to Bb, and/or both C's to C#. It depends on how "jazzy" the player is. Buddy's method is best, of course, but players who never venture beyond traditional western swing often enjoy having parallel octave changes.

I literally just set up my first (0) pedal on my Mullen Royal Precision to obtain a true C6 tuning from 4-9 strings. Obviously I had to give up my Franklin pedal, but this is much more practical for me when I need a lap steel for a song or two. In addition to the adjacent C6 tuning ( no skipped strings, and all on one pedal), I have a nice Minor change by going LKR

4 - E
5 +1/2 C
6 +1/2 A
7 +1/2 G
8 E
9 -1 C

Apparently this is being referred to as the "Sigler" pedal, after Mike Sigler wound up with this, plus a 3rd string A which I haven't done yet but is on the list

All on the first pedal. It's working great for me
