Short answer, yes.
I was using separate amp and separate speaker (in separate enclosure) at the time I was using the Carvin bass amp. Until something better came along it served the purpose.
The Quilter Travis Toy 12 combo amp (includes the TB202 amp) to me is the best steel guitar amp I've had since the 70's and a Fender twin.
