It seems a while ago I ran across a post wherein someone had posted some correspondence from when they were taking lessons from Hal Aloma and he went over his tunings. I cannot seem to locate it in the search unfortunately though. I've been listening to some of his tunes and I knew he was mainly a C#m/High Bass A tuning guy, but I ran across a song where he did a chord strum. So I slowed it down and it appears that his tuning is somewhat unique. It's E-C#-G#-E-D-E. This appears to be a C#m9 tuning on only 6 strings, but it's missing the 7th which is the B. This makes it an E13 I would think. Anyone know of this tuning?

Here is the song:

The strum is at 18 seconds in.
