In the last 3 months I have had 2 friends pass that I have known for many years. Here is a song that the late Rusty Goodman wrote that talks about a loved one going to heaven. If you do not know the song I suggest listening to the lyrics, they are incredible. Rusty Goodman was a gifted writer and singer.

Excellent Paul. Such big tone, but with great clarity. I like that lick at 1:20. Rusty Goodman, and all the Goodmans, have been my favorites all along.

Thank you Rick. I enjoyed the Happy Goodmans and their music. Rusty was so talented. I wonder how much of the sound was affected by the Sonic cup.

Nice one Paul. Rusty was the real deal.He did a song,"You make it rain for me" that has haunted me for years.I think the Sonic cup keeps things balanced out in the over all sound. Laughing

Thank you Joe for the kind words. Rusty Goodman was definitely the real deal. I am going to search for that song you mentioned, I do not believe I have heard that one before. The Sonic cup may be a big help too.

Joe Krumel, I found the song you were talking about. I had never heard it before. Rusty also sang a song Larry Gatlin wrote called "It Must Have Rained In Heaven On Crucifixion Day" which I enjoyed as well.

I wish that I could find a good track for that one. Emmons knocked it out of the park.
