My Hilton pedal goes not even a quarter way from full and starts to have a bad overdriven sound. Does anyone work on these or can give me some advice on my next step to try to fix it? |

It may not be the pedal. The Hilton has a very high output and you should look at the next stage in the chain. I have the input gain on my amp set at 3 _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

The one I have is an older one, and has a trimpot adjustment on the bottom for gain. Mine, too, was turned up so high it distorted when I first bought it. After I turned the trimmer down so that it was no louder than my passive pedal, it worked fine. |
