Jerry Overstreet was kind enough to send me this Peavey 1501 Basket and it paired nicely with the Peavey Neo-magnet I had sitting around for years. I installed it in my Stereo Steel cab and it has a sweet vibe. I'll get a chance to use this live at a gig next week.

You are most welcome Len. I was only reciprocating your gesture of supplying me the Weber NeoMags a couple years back.

That particular basket is one of the best sounding 1501s I have owned. It's the last of that generation of Super Structure speakers that I had, keeping only a pair of the old Spider Web models.

Let us know what you think of it after your gig next week. What will you be driving it with?
