Just recently installed some new trapezoid pickups made by Nick Fryer.
Sounds a lot more balanced & the top end is clear and smooth. Also helped a lot with buzzing and distortion issues I was having.

Song is P.S. I Love You
Tunings are E13 (back), A6/F#7 (front)

Cody, you just knock it out of the park again - if that's a demo, how good must the real thing be?

Not to mention those traps! Nick's pickups sound great, and the sets that went on Lee Jeffriess' guitars are killer too.

Great tone, Cody. I have to say, even greater playing!
I have always liked the sound of the older fenders with the trapezoid pickups and these new ones sound just great.

Another great video. I found your channel a few months ago. Nice to see you're a member here. You are like the best kept secret. Your Mauna Kea and Mahealani Moon are uncanny. Just like the originals with David Keli'i and Steppy De Rego. I know because I spent hours dissecting those--except you nail it! I admire your taste.
