As best I can tell, this is probably a 1951-52 as it's pre-tweed case. As you can see, the case is kinda beat up on the back side (which could probably be glued back down/repaired by someone handy), and on the underside. I'm amending this ad to say the case is semi-functional. I'm taking it out tonight, but using a strap on each side to ensure the bottom doesn't fall out. See the lower 2 pics for best actual color of guitar. Some chrome wear on the trap where you'd expect it to be (see pic). Otherwise, it's a really lovely early DP specimen. Serial # is 1303. $1100 + shipping.
