I do a lot of playing with backing tracks. However I prefer a live band. This was recorded at a Memory Care Unit for their residents. It was an honor to play for Senior Citizens. |

| Great job and thank you for playing for the folks there! I did that a bunch with a 6 string and backing tracks before Covid. Did not realize they were opening back up for live music. |

| It done me just as much good as it did them. I worked in a nursing home for 15 years and know firsthand what it is like to see people hurting. Being a blessing to them is something I enjoy. |

| Thanks Dale. It never crossed my mind about playing it in that enviroment. The reason I did was to tell the story Lloyd Green tells about the session and to play a Gene Watson song. I was happy with the tone as well. Sounds much better on those wood floors and a bigger room than it does here at the house. |

You sure don't have to worry about Tone... it always sounds Yummy, and you played it really good.

| Thank you Ron for the kind words. Carl, one amp was what I used for rhythm tracks. As you look at the videos on my left side is my 112 amp. Thank you Dale for those kind words. You know that I love your playing and your thought process. You are a fantastic picker my friend. |

| Sounds great, Paul! That is so nice of you to do this. My Mom spent 8 long years in a dementia ward and I got to know all of the patients and staff there. Sometimes music is the only thing that seems to break through for some patients and bring them a few minutes of happiness. I'm sure seeing them smile, clap, or just nod their heads was rewarding for you, too. |

| Thank you Jeff. I worked at a nursing home for 15 years and we had a secure unit. Dementia and Alzheimers is terrible. That being said some of the funniest things I have been told was from those residents. Music does seem to help those residents. There was one lady where I played who was a retired music teacher. On one song I hit a string on the very last lick I was not supposed to hit and it was very noticeable. I said did anyone hear that bad note and she spoke up and said "Yes". I got a chuckle out of that. |

| Haha! Great story, Paul. There was a retired nurse who was a patient in my Mom's unit. She would wander the hall at nite when there wasn't a lot of staff there and patients would wake up to find her holding a clipboard she'd taken from the nurses' desk and staring at them. I guess she was still doing her rounds. Hopefully she wasn't giving out meds! |

| Their short term memory is what goes first. That is an awesome story. I can tell you I have seen family members bring a baby doll for their loved ones and residents would fight over that doll. That tells me God instilled something in ladies to take care of children and even though their mind may be bad they still have that yearning to mother. |
