Johnathan,
I have a '71 Emmons black mica Fat Back D-10 that I plan to restore and sell. This guitar was supposedly owned by Buddy Charlton. I'm in the process of trying to verify this with Kelcey O'Neil as soon as he obtains the Emmons Warranty cards.
Here are a couple of photos. I tried to rotate them with no luck!

Lynn: I had that very same D-10 Emmons. It did belong to Buddy Charlton. He sold it to Curry Coster, Curry sold it to Dale Wood, Dale traded it to my brother Mike for a Dobro, then I inherited it from Mike and later sold it to Tom Quinn in California. Then he sold it to someone else. That's all the history I know. Thanks, Tommy.....
