Thanks Joe, I used a fair amount of delay on this one. It can also be heard on the high notes at the end. Thanks for checking it out!

I really enjoyed your excellent performance. This is a song that I have started to learn. Your rendition has inspired me to spend more time on it.

Beautiful! Love the notes drenched in delay-long live the Shadows and the Ventures.

Thanks Karlis and Chuck! Yeah, I’m a big fan of The Ventures, and especially The Shadows. I didn’t discover The Shadows until the 1990s when the internet came along! They got no airplay here in the US back in the 60s and 70s. Love that Strat tone, whammy bar, and delay. Long live Hank Marvin!

Yes beautiful all round, Doug. Changes are reminiscent of The Brothers Four ‘Green Leaves of Summer’..a way back when Folkies clogged the air waves.

Wow, you're reaching way back there, Jon! I'm reminded of the old TV show Hootenanny! A vague memory from my youth.

My brain will ‘play’ snippets of tunes now & then.. if strong enuf to get past my tinnitus tones, Doug. And oh, BTW, ‘Green Leaves’ was a theme song created by Dimitri Tiompkin, for the epic movie “The Alamo”.. and guess where HE was from? (wait for it Vlad..) Ukraine. 😎

Hi Doug, The whole pkg. sounds very nice including the backing track. With all your masterpieces do you create them all by your lonesome self?

Thanks Manny, I make the backing tracks using band-in-a-box for drums and bass, and then I add about four guitar tracks to that, and lastly the steel. I video record myself playing as I add the steel. I'm spending a lot more time on the backing tracks lately. The steel is the easy part! Putting together a good track that creates an atmosphere is a lot harder, for me anyway.
