I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have items on other guitar forums always with positive feedback. I strive to be as transparent and honest as
Possible.
I guessing if you are a member of this forum you have an understanding of the uniqueness of the instrument as only 15-20 round necks were made between 1927-34. The serial number
on this 0967 which dates it to 1928. The guitar is a style 3 round neck made of German steel with the beautiful Lilly of the valley engraving. The guitar was modified which without question impacts its value. In 2005 Don Young installed a new mahogany wood neck with a trust rod to improve its playability and a new tail piece was added. The tail piece overtime snapped off. I have ordered a new one from National. The bone nut I still have
and is in the non original hardshell case. The case is well made with purple lining. Feel free to contact me with any questions or additional pictures. I’ve tried to price the guitar as
fairly as possible to reflect its player grade conditions. New Asking Price $6600 + shipping . Guitar is set up -3/28. Tail piece added and new pics uploaded.
Guitar plays great and sounds terrific!
