I learned to play on a T40. Heaviest axe I ever played!

I've looked at the prices on 'verb and 'bay and they are pretty much in line with what I would expect to pay for a good bass guitar.

That's a good lead, but it's local pickup only.
Here's one on eBay that will ship. Finish is rough but you might get it for around the same price.

Looking at the actual sold prices on eBay and Reverb, you're unlikely to find one online for less than $700.
Might be a lucky strike locally, but across the board folks are waking up to how good T series instruments are.

$700 might seem high for a bass that would have fetched less than $300 20 years ago, but for 2 decades they've been steadily ticking upwards at only about double the rate of inflation. Not a bad deal for a vintage USA instrument that is -unlike Fender/Gibson/etc- actually out of production.

I saw the local pick up, Karl. But it might be worth a conversation. That's a good price for a great bass. The seller is also open to offers.
