Mexican lap steel makers

Does anyone know of any small shop luthiers competent to make reasonably priced acoustic or electric lap steels in Mexico?

Do a search for Paracho Mexico. Basically, it is a town where just about everyone makes guitars. Some makers are very high line, others make decent instruments at fair prices. I am sure you can find someone there. It is just south of Guadalajara. Don't travel there. It is deep in Michoácan and fairly dangerous.
