I've been playing steel guitar for 68 years so I built one more guitar, a present for my 91st birthday. Thought I would share a picture with my forum friends that I love like

brothers and sisters.

A fine looking guitar and a fitting tribute to the builder. Great gift and well deserved.

Sam, you built a real beauty! Great design in red, white and blue - plus the U. S. flag fret markers.

I would think it plays and sounds as good as it looks, too. Great job!!

Sam,
What a fine looking steel…I share a 22 year Air Force career as well and also share your Arkansas heritage. My U.S. Flag flies 24/7 and lit up at night. Thanks for sharing this tribute to our Steel Guitar and our beloved flag. A salute to you Sir and wishing you a Happy Birthday 🎂🎉

I really like the American flag theme. That’s super. I’ve seen a few of your builds on here before and they always look great. Glad to see your still building.
