This was done by Harry Jackson years ago.

On the E 9th neck this allows you the option too tune the lowers with out reaching
Underneath.

The C 6th neck you have too tune the lowers underneath.

Some Sho Bud permanent owners might interested too see this.

I once modified a Permanent to give it modern-style E and F levers but you had to tune it underneath.
It was no great hardship as they're very stable by nature, but bringing the adjusters out to the endplate like in this example is very smart!
