As promised, here is the link to Vol.1 of several videos that we will be posting from our recent testing sessions of the mock-up ReSound'65 push-pull wraparound.

I might good afford a half of a 1965 Resond 65 push pull.

Problem is with social media THE SECRET IS OUT THAT THE PUSH PULL EMMONS
STEELS IS THE STEEL THAT SETS THE MARK FOR GOOD TONE AN
PLAYABILITY!!!!
NO LONGER CAN THE MYTH THAT A PUSH PULL EMMONS IS SOME MYSTERIOUS STEEL THAT ONLY A HAND FULL PEOPLE COULD MANAGE TOO TUNE.

| Very nice tone and thanks for the video. I own a 68 black pp and Nashville steeler's, the late Jack Smith's 78 pp. Love both of them. That's all I play. If I were in the market for a pedal steel, I would defiantly get this Resound 65! |

My Previous post is too be took with a grain of salt an too be humerus.
But the Myths about it takes a rocket scientist too tune an maintain a push pull are False!!!

I am neither a rocket scientist or mechanic, I can't even fix my own vehicles!
I have had no trouble whatsoever in tuning and maintaining my push pulls. Once you get the correct procedure, then you've got it.
Is as simple as leaning the procedure in tuning/maintaining all pulls. |

Darin, any plans to make SD-12 guitars? I heard a rumor the new Emmons can have splits, true? Staggered levers going to be an option?

| I have always loved the push/pulls and am glad they did this. Not a bad tone from anyone. Signature Emmons tone. Gonna be outta my price range though, I'm sure. I hope they keep carrying on the Emmons tradition. To me the Emmons Guitars sound like Emmons Guitars, no matter which model they are. |

John, we've talked about offering 12s at some point, but it would be a little while before we started getting serious about development.
Splits are back! Kelcey and I are super excited about those and look forward to all the new phrasing that will follow once people start working them out. As for staggering levers, we aim to set up guitars based on the client's preference per their request, but our standard setup will be 8-5 on D10s. But yeah - custom setups (within reason) and clusters are not a problem from a capabilities standpoint.

Johnie, your hilarious! Lol
Seriously though, you are correct - tuning myths have plagued push-pulls far too long! We aim to debunk that myth with the ReSound'65. The proof is in the pudding and this guitar stays in tune. Period. It really only needs adjustments at the head. I generally bump a key loading and unloading from the case, but not once (in weeks of traveling and multiple sessions) have we had to do anything underneath or at the changer. They just work!! We are excited about the revival of push-pulls!

There are several tuning myths floating around about the push pull but I actually find them quicker and easier to tune than most all pull guitars and much easier to set up and work on if you take correct steps putting them back together.. Also they stay in tune so once you get it tuned correct, all you have to do is tweak them at the keyhead which is usually few to drastic temperature changes but really doesn’t affect them much if at all.
I’m really excited about the new Emmons guitars and though I haven’t played one, I’ve heard nothing but positive remarks about them and how they really captured the sound of the 65 wrap around. Thumbs up to you guys and looking forward to seeing and playing one.
