Good to see you took the leap to C6. I was one of those who said you should try it. Sounds great, can't wait to hear what you come up with. Check out Herb Steiner's website, he shows what chords he gets with the pedals and knee levers, and combinations, it really helped me when I was starting C6. Or do like me and contact Rick Schmidt, he can take you as deep as you want to go. If I can help let me know. Good Luck

Thank you all for your kind words.
Mike. you're a master at what you do, so thank you so much. Haven't yet figured out how to think of it in a similar way that I do E9th, but suspect something will click at some point.
Larry, my friend thank you for all your encouragement, I appreciate it.
Steve, thanks so much, I actually used one of Herbs Charts to help me figure a couple things out. Rick and I have been trying to get together. I just hope I'm not beyond hope.

Hey Dale, sounds like you're on the right track. If you have the C-C# knee lever use it with ped 5 and it's just like the A ped and E-F knee on E9,so you have a C6 and A- at fret 3.Another thing kind of similar to E9,at the open position with ped 7, strings 2-6 you have an E-7,I think of it in terms of E9 sometimes. If you have a split tuner on string 3 (with ped7) you change the m-7 to a m-6, I'm using it more and more.Hope this helps

Thanks Paul... I want? to say Dm... the first chord is Dm>G7>Em>Dm>E7>Em, then back to Dm. I'm easily confused... I had to play it on E9th to come up with this. I think there's an Fmaj7th that I used in the C6th version, but think that's as close as I came to F. I'm WAY out of my depth when it comes to most things, but especially theory stuff.Paul Wade wrote:wish i could dance around like a OrganistDale Rottacker wrote:Thats great Steve, thanks... You're NOT bugging me... I appreciate the input and tutelage... I've looked at Jim video, and need to again... Thanks for the help... and Rick too!!!Steve Cattermole wrote:Dale, one more thing and I won't bug you anymore, check out Jim Cohen's Youtube video on the different ways to play 2/5/1 chord change on C6, it's done very well. Have fun
Thanks Paul... I'm hoping to.Paul King wrote:That sounds great Dale. You should be doing more C6th videos.

Autumn leaves
Very nice Dale, I too dabble on C6 without actually knowing what I’m doing chord wise. I’ve loved that song for a long long time and was wondering where I could find that track. Thanks
Billy
