Topic: Modern Pickup similar to the 70s Sho Bud |

I have a 1974 Sho Bud 6139 model (aka pro 1). I'm making a PSG and would like to get a pickup with a similar characteristic to the Bud. Any thoughts on what might work. I particularly like the sweet top notes and the character it generates.

You're going to find that with any pickup shipped to you.

You're going to find that with any pickup shipped to you. |
Not so true actually - the manufactures seem to be able to ship quick economically but personal - not so much |

The shipping issue from US to AUS might be temporary. US Postal Service recently suspended First Class International Package service from US to AUS. That leaves USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx, all of which are about 4x the price of First Class Package. Hopefully they will reinstate the service soon.

Companies that ship a lot with a carrier get incredibly low rates. The more they ship, the lower the rates. That's how many companies can offer free shipping. The private person gets screwed.
And yes, $55 would give me nightmares. That is one reason I will not ship to other countries.
