Wow, Jean-Sebastien! That is the one I would have picked. That black is very nice! Have fun with it. Cool

Coincidentally, I have one on its way to me too. Also a black 7 string! Almost exactly the same as the one Jean-Sebastien is getting, except the tuners on mine are black and reversed.

Happy early birthday to me. I know it’s been said before, but Todd is a master craftsman. This guitar feels great, sounds great, looks great and is a joy to play - I haven’t been able to put it down. I chose a long scale 7 string with vintage appointments. If you’ve been on the fence regarding ordering one of Todd’s guitars, I can’t recommend them enough.

Looks fantastic. How do you have it tuned Peter?

And how do you plan on tuning your 7-string, Jean-Sebastian?

Can you spell it out? The typical 6 string C6 already has an E on top (CEGACE).

My Clinesmith has arrived, and is living in a hotel room with me in Burbank, CA. Hopefully, I’ll find a nice tube amp to try it out. Currently limited to the little Blackstar Fly that I packed in.

Here's mine, #024...

That's me trying to work out the Jules Ah See solo section on Alfred Apaka's Princess Pupule:

Jules did his on a pedal Fender 1000 but it was fun to get in the ballpark at least on nonpedal...

Nice job on that Jules Ah See solo Nic. I really like the looks of those black frypans and would probably go for a black 7 string if I didn't already have a satin finished 6 stringer that sounds and feels glorious. Here's a clip of it in a band setting:

Great playing Nic and Einar! Einar, I have been listening to your stuff over the last few days. The guitar player is doing some great stuff and the steel is really top notch! And I really love the vocal/singing quality the frypan has. Just beautiful.

Also, I was about to order a long scale 8 string frypan this week and ended up buying a D8 Clinesmith console. I'm sure it'll be ok too 😎.

Thanks Daniel and Jean-Sébastien, I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I’m really happy with the sound of bandmates as well as Clinesmith frypan. Anything that makes you sound better right? Wink

I have one on order and haven't decided on the finish. I'm beginning to like the black finish a lot.
