I just learned from Tracy Pitcock that Razzy has passed. RIP Razzy.

Dave I seen this on Facebook from Tracy Pitcock from Heart of Texas music. Google says he passed away Aug the 4th 21.

Razzy has indeed passed on. I think he was 83. He sure didn't look all that great in the last few years' photos. He'd lost some weight and his clothes looked like they were for a larger man.

I only knew him briefly as I was on a package tour with Dottsy in 1979, and others on the show were Razzy and Big Al Downing. He was a cool hang at the hotels and backstage, loved jokes and laughter, friendly and gregarious. I dug him. He also knew a lot about R&B and had great stories.
