Newly arrived this evening. A Rickenbacker ACE. It’s in fabulous condition and sounds absolutely fantastic. The pickup is very hot, but also very clean. The volume pot might need to be replaced, it’s basically just on or off at the moment. Tone control is excellent. It’s a pleasure to play.

I’ll post a photo tomorrow to try and show the Bakelite better. It’s a dark brown tortoise shell, not showing up well in the photos above.
