From the 1996 International Steel Guitar Convention - St Louis, MO USA

Today is May 31, 2021, Memorial Day.
What a fitting video to post today as Ron always dedicated his show to the men and women of our Armed Forces and our Country.

Enjoy one of the true giants of pedal steel guitar in a trip down memory lane.
Maybe you were even at this show. If you were, please note it in the comments section.

Ron is a fine player known as Mr. Smooth for a reason. His style and tone was gorgeous and his humor was welcome on his sets. We enjoyed Ron for many years at the ISGC and many other shows.
