Anyone have any updated info about him? Is he still with us and in good health. If you have never heard him play you missed out. What an AWESOME picker. And a very nice Gentleman. He is in his early 90's. Thanks, J.R. Rose

J R how right you are. Seen Buck at many steel shows and he always brought fresh material and played so good. He does a super job with a telecaster too. I haven't seen or heard about him in a while.

Hey JR,
Buck and Mitzi are doing fine. Buck is in his 90's and still plays the steel.
He has a steel set up at a friends and several get together regularly to pick.

He and Mitzi both have back issues, but keep on plugging away.

Linda and I went over and took them to lunch a couple of months ago and will be back over there sometime in June.

Thanks for your update on Buck & Mitzi, Bill; I haven't seen them for a few years. I really like your picture of them! I'll try to match you with one I took a few years ago in Texas.

Here are a few more of Buck doing what he's very good at doing!
