Iâ€™m getting close to wrapping up my project and just finished this track with my pal Will Bernard assisting with some skanky guitar. I may still record another solo but I am longing for this to be completed so I can move to the next steps.

Wayne Shorter: what is there to say? An absolute brilliant composer and soloist, one of my top three for sure. The intro was almost enough to dissuade me from recording this but persistence paid off.

Hope you dig it enough to consider pre-ordering the album. I am not sure that I will be making physical CDs available this time around. Steelonious sold many CDs plus many digital downloads but with CDBaby kind of backing out of that end of the business and me not wanting to do all the handling, Iâ€™m thinking no.
