from 2011. the standard "cherokee". 10 string lap steel. leavitt tuning extended. drum loop and i played a track of elec bass. had some fun. https://soundcloud.com/bill-hatcher/cherokee-lap-steel-guitar

i like that little ric you have been playing. hope you have been finding some gigs. patty and i played a funeral yesterday. she sounded great. im playing with the atlanta opera this month doing the three penny opera on banjo, underarm guitar and would you believe there is about 16 bars of what kurt Weil wanted notated as a "hawaian guitar"! its just a nice melody at the end of the tango dance. most guys play it on an acoustic guitar, but i took in an electric. conductor didnt know the difference. Winking
