Anybody follow Rick Beato on YouTube? He has a list of top 20 musical inventions that is very thought provoking. I thought this might be some dumb list like David Letterman or something but no, it’s worthy of a college lecture. The number one invention was so obvious but I didn’t think of it until it was presented.

You’re welcome. How many of y’all had patience to sit thru 20 minutes ? Most of the time I don’t. The number one invention was standardized musical notation and Gutenberg’s printing press BTW |

Just watched this and will watch it again tonight with my wife. Really interesting and important.
Not to high jack the thread, but there’s a fantastic movie called “Tom Dowd and The Language of Music†that is fantastic. _________________ MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Princeton 65W, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom. |
