| First let me say that I have known Keith Hilton since 1980 and have been using a Hilton Volume Pedal for a bunch of years with no problems. About a year ago a man gave me a Hilton Pedal and said his house burned and the pedal was in the house at the time. I figured it was completely ruined. This week I took it to Keith. He looked at the outside and said it very well may be ruined. He took it apart and did a few voltage checks, replaced the shaded strips that controls the level, plugged it into his guitar and....Wow! Worked like a new pedal. This is amazing since the house was completed destroyed. I brought it home and the pedal works perfect! That is one tough pedal! Thanks Keith for building a truly outstanding volume pedal! |

I need to add, there was naturally some cosmetic damage
From the heat of the fire but the pedal was still electronically and mechanically fine. |

The Hilton certainly presents itself as robust. I use mine for gigs. I keep a Telonics at home - superb pedal but possibly not as beer-proof, and much more expensive to replace. The Hilton is the better value for money in my view.
