I will be traveling until August.
I bought this guitar from a fellow forum member in 2016 and it has served me well. It is old, and shows it, but it sounds amazing! I gigged with it regularly up until the virus arrived, and got many compliments from other musicians on how good it sounds. Sorry to let this one go but I’ve got to lighten the load. $1,000.00 plus shipping. It includes the original case, and a Hatton case that I had made custom for this guitar, and sleeves for the legs. Short scale 22 1/2; sorry but the bridge cover and blend wheel are not included, however, the blend control works fine.

Jon, all Fender Deluxe single neck steels have a 22.5†scale, the only non pedal Fender to come with a scale option was the multineck Stringmasters.
Also, here is a trick to spotting the scale length on a Fender Stringmaster, look at how many fret markers the fretboard has. Supposing the guitar is tuned to an E tuning, 22.5 scale boards have a high A fret, 24.5 guitars have a high B fret marker, and the early 26 scale Stringmasters have a high C# fret marker, but those are easy to identify due to their very different features all around. |

Of course, Chris is correct (he's probably forgotten more than I know about steel guitar ).
But there's an even easier way to immediately spot the scale length on Fender steel guitars (it's essentially the same thing Chris is saying, but easier for folks who might be less musical):
Just count the fret markers after the 24th fret (the 12th and 24th have the same style fret marker). 2 squares for a 22.5" scale, 3 squares for a 24.5" scale, and 4 square for the earliest 26" scale models.
Good luck with the sale, Daryl--these are fantastic guitars! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Sorry to continue hijacking Daryl's for sale post, but just watched Chris's encyclopedic Classic Country Shredding video on YouTube. Dang. _________________ Carter D10, Emmons GS10, T8 Stringmaster, 50s Fender Deluxe

Nice guitar, Dated by Tadeo Gomez. His initials might not be there, but 100% that's his handwriting.
I wonder who TN is?
Cool piece, GLWS. |

It's really though to not live in the US. I would buy this one in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the insane taxes and import fees...
