Here is my latest recording of the work of Eddie Alkire. On A South Sea Isle, 1936. Arranged for the Eharp and performed on an Epiphone Eharp by Bill McCloskey.

it is kind of long, about 8 minutes, but keeps changing all the time: it has an A-B-A-C-A-B-A structure which is played through 3 times with a different melody each time. 9 unique melody lines.

Hope you enjoy it.

thanks Doug. I only hear the mistakes but I think I'm getting better. Fun part is figuring out how to play it. None of the slides are in the sheet music, I just have to figure out what sounds good.

Each one is a learning tool.

Doug, health is good . Cancer treatment is going to be much less intense than originally thought and i get my second pfizer shot today.

Btw, for those interested, there are no slants in this piece. Everything is played in straight bar position.

Beautiful work. The Eharp sounds just lovely, and it's an interesting tune.

I'm very sorry to hear about your health problems, but glad it's not as bad as you expected.
