Here is a preview for a C6th lesson I've done. It's a solo Buddy Emmons played live for the song, "If You've got the Money Honey, I've got the Time". The singers name is Dianne Sherrill. I think it's a great example of how Buddy approached playing single notes on the C6th. I go through and explain my take on how I think Buddy played this. The lesson is around 24 minutes long and just $10. If interested, please send me an email at dr.of.slide@gmail.com or private message here on the Forum. The 1st link is the preview for the lesson and the 2nd is a link to the song.

Thanks so much guys, I do appreciate it! Hi Kenny, There are no TABS with this. It is strictly a video lesson. I break down the solo in small sections and teach it 1 note at a time. After purchasing the lesson, you could TAB it out yourself. Though, with the speed of this solo, I think it would be tough to play it while reading the TAB. In my opinion, I think it's best to learn and memorize the positions and pockets where these single notes are found. Then, even if you don't learn this solo note for note, you can use these single note positions in other songs by creating melodies(change the order and phrasing of the notes) and make it your own.

Dale did an absolutely great job with this video. I like his style of breaking down the solo into pockets, and continually adding to each run. I never got lost in the video. Thank you, Dale!

Players,
As you know I teach Pockets, licks and songs on C6. But what Dale has done here is a very valuable lesson. Everything he shows can be broken down to several licks and tied into other licks that you have for your C6. Believe me, what he does here takes a lot of time to listen to the original lick and break down into the correct positions to play them. So many hours goes into it.

Support him and buy this and add to your arsenal of licks.
