What’s the size of Zum pull rods? Also thread cut? Anyone know, would appreciate the help, Dan Layne

Last I knew .125" 5 or 6-40

They are 5-40 threads, but the threads are rolled on not cut. So you can’t cut your own. The rod is too small, but if you use a rod big enough to cut the threads on, the other end is too big.

Contact Bruce and order what you need, He is still supporting his guitars.

I just measured mine recently to order some tuning nuts. The 1980 and 1989 were 0.12, the 2003 and 2010 were 0.10.

It will depend on the era of build. My late 81 had cut 6-32 threads on an alum rod.
