Since losing use of the CFJ building after 19 years. We've moved our Steel Guitar Jams across the road over to American legion post #52 in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Join us for our next jam on Tuesday February 9th at 5:30pm. Please make a note that the jams will now be held on the second TUESDAY of the month rather than Wednesday. This will be thru April.

Nick, I understand the Covid19 shutdowns. Lets not be too hasty on cancelation of jams for the future. I hope the vaccines will roll out and let us get back to business.

Too bad. I started this jam in 2002 and had been involved with it up to and including Dec 2020. I bowed out as I'm moving but Jack Dougherty was hoping to continue it. Because of COVID we only had two steels for the December jam and in a "normal" year we usually have 8 to 10. I suspect if the jams are eventually to continue a new location will have to be found.

Covid has affecred everything. I very much enjoyed the jams on my winters in Florida. Of course I’m not in Florida this winter due to border closures and Covid. Hopefully we’ll be back and the jams will continue. Don’t let them die.
