Hey guys, I would like to buy (1) Push-Pull fine tuning screw. In my area, things like this are almost impossible to find. Any help, greatly appreciated. Eddie

Eddie, check with Billy Knowles. He’s here on the SGF and FB.

Eddie -

You might want to consider removing one of the existing fine tuning screws that is Not affected by Either a Raise or Lower (without knowing your setup, say, perhaps your 7th string?)

Then find an Ace Hardware aisle and ask 'can you match this? '

Just a thought
Or not

Ron

Make sure you check both yours and the one they give you in their ‘thread-o-meter’

Emmons guitars use Nylok tipped socket cap screws, which are not typically found In hardware stores. This is to hold the tuner screw in place while playing. McMaster-Carr, Billy Knowles or Lynn Stafford may sell them.

If you go the non Nylok route, you’ll need to put a small spring on the screw before screwing it in to help it hold pitch.

I can’t remember the screw size but I’ll check later on my “thread-o-meter” and get back to you.

Another route if you can't find the nylok one,put just a dab of contact cement on the thread.
