Nice. Its had some upgrades along the way. The Lawrence 710's are not stock. The Franklin logo plate on the front is not stock if its S/N 019. I had S/N 65 and Mr. Franklin told me mine was the first one with the "rounded" Franklin logo nameplate (decal).
I'm not in the market for a new steel (at age 83) but if I were I would consider this one. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

I used to own ser# 020.i bought it from Herb Remington for $1500 dollars in 1985,it was loaded 9 floor pedals and 8 knees but it was a satin(black) finish,I did not like the cover,it was a stereo guitar had dual pots in the volume pedal and had the Franklin logo was a plastic plate glued on mica, yes I sold it to a friend Who played steel for $1500,and let him pay me out when he got a job...yea I know.....CM _________________ Use it up,wear it out, make it do,or do without..... |
