Terrible news today. RIP Jerry.

I was emailing him a few weeks ago about parts, he mentioned he was sick and was getting a covid test.

Seems surreal he's left us. Condolences to his friends and family.

I met Jerry through the forum. Like someone else said a friend to all Steel players. I had a few conversations with him about guitars and he was very generous with his knowledge. I managed to buy his fender triple neck from him and often think about his kindness when I play it. Prayers for Jerry and his family🙏

Didn't want to hear this on my 80th birthday, but at least I will be able to remember him!
One of my greatest thrills was when he ask me to sit in for him while they went on Vacation.
Condolences to the family. a great talent gone.

So sorry about Jerry. He was a stand up guy with a wealth of knowledge musically and mechanically. He was always willing to share. I met Jerry many years ago at Hot Springs steel guitar show and always looked forward to visiting with him. He will be missed for sure and my sincere thoughts out to his family.

My deepest sympathies to the Roller Family. My longtime friend is now in the presence of Jesus my Lord and Savior. A true gentlemen and early mentor for me. Our steel guitar family is growing a little bit smaller with such a huge loss for us all, especially Carlene and family.
