I need some input from FORUM members on a recommendation for a drum machine.....one that has an awesome 4/4 shuffle beat . I'm hoping for input from guys who've actually used one in the past or currently . Your help is appreciated

Larry, I have several over the years, Boss Dr5 Roland PMA, Zoom, and a couple others. None gave me the Ray Price shuffle with rim shot I wanted. Have you looked into online tracks for your computer? Maybe some of the others have a better machine by now.

Larry and Larry...The DR5 will give you the right feel for the Ray Price shuffle beat, if you set the SWING at 7... I learned that from Billy Cooper. He made a complete C.D. with nothing but the DR5, and it turned out great.

Tommy thanks. I haven't used it in years. I used Band in a box for years because of the backing band and songs available. I have also used Youtube karaoke tracks for the same. With so many drum and gand options online, the machines sit idle.
