Prayers are going out from Gallatin for the Franklin family. I met her and Paul Sr. In the mid 90’s. They were both warm and welcoming people. Mom’s can’t ever be replaced and all the superlatives in the world remain an understatement. Our thoughts are with Paul Sr. And his family.

I cannot add anything to what Tommy just wrote as they echo my feelings exactly. Mrs. Oleda never failed to make any stranger feel they were a part of their family circle. She was a wonderful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I would like to send my sympathy to the Franklin family. I always enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Franklin at the St. Louis show. She and my own mom were very much alike both in appearance and demeanor. I hope your family will find peace and comfort in the coming days.

My deepest sympathies to the entire family. “Mom” passing is about the hardest death to take. Many coping prayers.

I’m glad she was able to come home to be with Paul, Sr. I’m sure it was hard on him, but not as hard as it would’ve been had she still been in the hospital.
