They are generally a very nice and affordable alternative to Fender outboard tanks, more lush and less splashy. They are also a bit noisier and are covered with super-thin paper that rips easily.

i had one that i used with a premier custom b160 club bass. together they sounded great. unfortunately i needed the cash and sold both together. reverb sure is different than fender reverbs. not better nor worse but different.

play music!

I had one--my son has it now. Sounds great but they do tend to be noisy. Much different sound than a Fender.

I have a Ken Fox reverb now, which is sort of a Premier on steroids. Same great sound, but built a lot better and much quieter. There's been one for sale at a good price on the Forum--don't know whether it's still there or not.

Premier was a less expensive, lower-quality alternative to Fender back in the day.
