Buying a new guitar

After 2 years of playing, I'm in the market for a new guitar. I've narrowed it down between either a Jackson or Mullen. Wanting opinions on each. I travel quite frequently with work assignments for months at a time so weight and maneuverability are important to me. Models I'm looking at are either the Mullen Discovery, which from my understanding is an all Pro guitar, made for traveling, or the Jackson Maverick HD or Slidekings. I love the Sho-Bud "Nashville" Sound but am not as familiar with the Jackson guitars as I am Mullens.

Please let me know any Pros/Cons to each and recommendations.
