Sold this Guitar for $2600.00 it took a rough ride with FedEx 3 Rivets broke loose and damaged the front of the cabinet very small dents but they are their. I can send pictures on your cell . It plays and sounds great. It was in a wheeled gruen Roadcase. Why FedEx and Ups treat peoples packages like this is unbelibale. I will try to fix the case if not I will ship iylt in split cases. I have personally been told by UPS that packages, boxed items, all things that are literally picked up by hand, they go through many different staging areas, and travel on conveyors with drops as much as 3 or 4 feet. That’s includes all things handled by UPS workers.
So you can just imagine if a guitar or pedal Steel is going from Ohio to Texas how many conveyors there going to be on...I was told this personally by my local UPS Store employees , because I do a lot of shipping through UPS....it certain’t gives you reason to think twice before shipping a Mint instrument across Country, at the very least you should purchase the insurance, not that, that will help you in a long drawn out court battle with UPS or Fed Ex.

If at all possible, I hope to never use Fed-Ex again. They nearly destroyed a steel guitar case I shipped. My ears were pinned back by the buyer. I personally went to fed ex and complained. They only paid $100 on the damage. It might cost more but I believe that USPS would be far better. |

Fed-Ex damaged an Emmons I shipped.
They wouldn't even acknowledge that there was any damage.
I would up taking them to small claims court and the judge ruled in my favor to the tune of $4,600.
