And it certainly applies to musicians. the line was something like
"yes he's an older candidate for the job, but he has already made the mistakes in life and on the job that the young candidate has not made yet, and HE has already learned from his mistakes and will not repeat them ".
Now obviously this doesn't mean that its all a perfect world, but the odds may be in the older guys favor ! _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders

I've made enough mistakes in my life, I should NEVER make another one. Somehow they keep coming. Dang those mistakes!

So you're sitting there on stage between tunes and get to thinking about that great movie line and how glad you are to be getting a little long in the tooth and more experienced ...and then Murphy's Law says you'll kick off the next tune in the wrong key! |

Great line. Do you remember the name of the moview and the background information concerning why it was said, who said it and who that person was talking about? _________________ Remembering Harold Fogle (1945-1999) Pedal Steel Player

I’ve used Reagan’s classic debate comeback to Mondale with several sales managers in the last few years,
"I want you to know that also I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience." _________________ A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first. |

it was called The Family Man, the main character was an evil "corporate recruiter" who turned good at the end. _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders
