I went and tried my hand at an arrangement of the Hank Snow classic, "A Fool Such as I". I managed to work in some licks I stole from Paul Franklin and Buddy Emmons on the solo. This tune has been presented in a lot of ways over the years; I went for a honky-tonk style, a nod to Elvis's classic rendition.

| Nice Job Andy. I used to do this years ago, it's a really fun song to play. I used to play guitar on a weekend gig that Jimmie Crawford played on too. I recall doing this but I also remember someone singing it too. Jimmie's instrumental version is great. I'm curious, what part of Illinois are you from, if you don't mind my asking? |
