Can anyone explain to me why this is a big deal? ๐Ÿคจ I'm honestly stumped. Seems to me that he's just doing the sensible thing and letting someone else win, so it doesn't become the Garth Brooks Award for best Garth Brooks of the year. Are people mad at him? And when it comes to the CMA last year, what is he talking about? Sorry, I don't keep up with all things CMA...well, anything CMA, to be honest.

Someone enlighten me.

My guess is Chris Gaines took over his brain.

Yeah, that's what I would think too. So... Where's the beef? ๐Ÿคจ

Looks like a typical Fox attempt to stir the crap where there is none.

Fred, take a look at what you just wrote, and think about it for a second... What are YOU doing?

This is not about Fox News, it's not about politics, it's not about COVID... Just get off it, my friend.

Yeah he did withdraw from the running, and it makes sense...unless there's some other weird dynamic that I'm not aware of. ๐Ÿค”

From Tony's article..
Quote:
His 2019 victory seemed especially curious. That ceremony was hosted by Carrie Underwood with Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire, and the event shined a light on women in the country music industry, so his victory over Underwood was illustrative of just how far the industry still has to go.
Ah, okay...one of those situations. ๐Ÿ˜’ It's not about music...it's about genitals.

b0b, let's just go ahead and close this thread. I swear, this year is becoming an anthropological embarrassment. Alien
