Yes this steel is in the era that they casted end plates, key head an neck no wonder she sounds so good!
Has straight grain hard rock maple cabinet 1/2 thick top bottom an sides.
Pins too hold string ball no slots.
All the ingredients of a recipe for tone too the bone.


Really nice tone an playability
Easy to change tunings.

This nice Marlen AL PULL. COMES with two pad options. One is a soft wrist pad. The rest is covered with vinyl over a 1/4 inch board makes a nice flat surface . The other is the traditional pad, it’s your choice both go with this Marlen.

My first steel was a Marlen like this in what I called Lipstick Red...these are great guitars. Wish I hadn't sold mine!
