I realize this might be a pretty divisive topic but I’m sure a few of you might get a kick out of it.

I’ve started doing a lot of late night live streams of ambient music featuring my MSA Classic to help people fall asleep. Think of it as someone leaving the tv on to catch some zzz’s but with a little more thought put into it. Here is an example here:

Would love to hear some opinions on this from all of you. I know it isn't exactly everybody's cup of tea, but it might be somebody’s.

That reminds me of the "Hearts of Space" radio program that aired on NPR in the 80's

I enjoyed it too, Ty. Very soothing. I'd like to hear more.
Are you using a EH "Freeze" pedal for the infinite sustain?

Jerry, Thanks for the link to the old "Hearts of Space" recording. Even though I never had any aspirations to play that type of music, I listened frequently back in the 80's. Now I think I'd like to venture into that territory a bit. The local NPR station now has a Sunday night program called "Echoes" that features a lot of what I think of as ambient music, both electronic and acoustic. Mostly instrumental but not all of it.

As a sucker for ambient, minimalism, I dig it. Reminds me a lot of this recent release by Luke Schneider: https://lukeschneider.bandcamp.com/

Jerry Jones!!! What an amazing radio program! Thanks for introducing me to that. Sounds wonderful. I actually don't use the EHX Freeze for very much lately, but I did a lot when I was playing 6-string electric. Most of the "infinite" sounds are a combination fo the Stereo Memory Man, a half speed looper, and the reverb pedal.

Been listening to that Luke Schneider release a lot lately. Makes me wish I had gotten into the whole pedal steel game earlier when I was touring and playing more actively then I could have had a shot at it! I notice most of his sound comes from the EHX C9/Mel9/Synth9 pedals which I am pretty reluctant to try, but maybe I should have less of a chip on my shoulder about it.
