I am building Pedal Steel Seat and would like to put it out there. My brand is Gruene Road Cases and there are a few here on the forum that can vouch for the quality.

I got that fixed but I don't have the pedal steel seats up yet. I am horrible at the website design stuff. Cases and Seats are a completely different story. Anyway if anyone is interested. email me at scott@grueneroadcases.com

Here are the colors

Hey all,

I recently purchased one of Scott’s seats, and I can attest to the quality. They’re also an extremely comfortable seat! I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks and thus far I haven’t found anything I don’t like about them. I’ll get some pics up of mine tomorrow.

Folks -

I recently purchased one of Scott’s (Gruene) PSG seats and can attest that the quality and workmanship is second to none.

You will not be disappointed with any Gruene product or road cases.

Looks well made. The 28lbs is spot on for the seat with side car. I like the setup on the legs. Looks very stable.

Hey all,

Scott beat me to posting pics, but my seat is the burgundy one on the right in his initial pic.

Someone had asked about weight, mine is 22.4 lbs empty.

Another feature that I absolutely LOVE is that his standard height is about 1/2” under other seats on the market. For a player with longer legs or who is thicker in the thigh region as I am, it’s a big plus. For the first time since I started playing, I don’t have to raise the height of my guitar. Also, the foam he’s using is excellent quality in that it doesn’t compress to the point where you still have enough cushion to feel it. Love this seat!

I have updated my website so there is a page specific to PSG Seats and Cases with Pricing, Color Options and Fabric. Best way to get hold of me is via website or email or even via facebook messenger.

Scott, Seat looks great. Not meaning to nit pick because I have not sat on your seat sure it set good but...... Why not locate the legs at max width to get maximum foot print to help with side to side wobble. Again ,not complaining just noticed they are positioned like my recently purchased (unnamed) seat ,inset to allow for the two hole clamps. A noticeable amount of stability difference compared to my old Sho Bud seat. Please don't think I'm being too critical, not at all, just thinking out loud. Keep up the good work.

Great looking seats, Scott. I like the hardware. I have a bungee cord wrapped around mine so it doesn't come open.

I am always open to feedback. How would the legs be secured? I am not a huge fan of the two hole straps and would love a different option.
